17th annual Empty Bowls fundraising event kicks off at First Presbyterian Church | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The 17th annual Empty Bowls fundraising event began Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, where dozens gathered to enjoy soup and raise awareness about food insecurity. The event brings together local churches and organizations to fight hunger. Between Feb. 9 and 23, different churches and organizations across Montgomery County will host lunch or dinner events featuring a variety of soups, bread and dessert.
Empty Bowls dates and sites
- Lunch hours: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Dinner hours: 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
For only $15 you receive a meal and a painted bowl. Tickets can be purchased online or at any participating meal site.
