4th annual Bulls, Booms, and Burgers held at Walker Farm and Ranch

by Jeff Matthews

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Three years ago, Daniel Walker began putting on bull riding events for the Clarksville area with the hope to grow it into something more. Then, on Saturday, June 29, Walker held his 4th annual Bulls, Booms, and Burgers event at 1680 Parchman Road.

While guests enjoyed bull riding, which featured world class American bullfighters, they also enjoyed mutton busting that took place at the event. Walker told Clarksville Now the growth of the event is a special sight to see.

“I think we had 10 bull riders in 2021, now we have guys that do this for a living,” Walker said. “From our weekend guys to the guys that go up and down the road, Monday through Sunday, 365 days a year. Some live on the road… It’s pretty cool, but the crowd is even better.”

Walker added to his comments by saying they probably have the greatest set of bullfighters on the planet with talent such as 3-time world champion Chase Moorman. He also highlighted world champion Colby Lindsey and Jacori Goldman.

Walker hopes to grow Bulls, Booms, and Burgers even more in the future, saying he would like to move it into town, and possibly make it a two-day event.
