CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Cub Scouts ate up a demonstration in science recently during the Pack 503 Blue and Gold Banquet.
On Friday, Pack 503 hosted Bryan Gaither, the “Mad Scientist” at Austin Peay State University, who demonstrated science lessons from the Department of Physics, Engineering and Astronomy, where he serves as laboratory/equipment manager.

The Blue and Gold is held each year by each Cub Scout pack to celebrate the birthday of Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) and to recognize Cub Scouts for this year’s advancement.
