Big Brothers Big Sisters doubles ‘Littles’ supported for first time in 20 years | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – For the first time in 20 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville has doubled the number of “Littles” they support.
Dozens gathered at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday to celebrate this achievement at the annual Big Night of Bourbon. Attendees enjoyed bourbon tastings, food and mingling.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Clarksville provides one-on-one mentoring relationships that help children and teens achieve their full potential. They match Littles with “Bigs” – adult mentors. Their programs aim to create an impact in the lives of both the youth and the mentors. Over 100 children were helped in the Greater Clarksville area through Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs.
“Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this cause for all the littles in our community,” said John Stephens, president of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Board.
