Candy, costumes, crowds fill downtown Clarksville for Fright on Franklin | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Downtown Clarksville was filled with candy booths, creative costumes and large crowds as the streets transformed for the 16th Fright on Franklin. The annual Halloween event brought families downtown to trick-or-treat with local businesses and organizations.
Businesses, vendors and organizations lined Franklin Street, Public Square and Strawberry Alley, handing out candy and promotional items from decorated booths.

The annual costume contest took place on a stage near City Hall and was hosted by Kyle King of the Q Morning Crew with Kyle and Tiffany on Q108. Participants from newborns to teens competed while showing off their most creative looks.
This year’s Fright on Franklin also featured an activity zone that included inflatables, a mini-pumpkin patch, games, and more. Food trucks and drink vendors were also on site.
To accommodate the growing crowd, event organizers updated the layout this year for smoother traffic flow and safety, with additional entry points and expanded walking areas.
