Carnival rides, fair food and pig races: Montgomery County Fair returns to Clarksville Speedway for ultimate summer sendoff

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County Fair is returning to the Clarksville Speedway July 30, bringing fair food, rides and racing pigs for the ultimate summer sendoff!

The fair opens Tuesday, July 30, and will continue through Aug. 3 at the Clarksville Speedway.

Admission to the fair is $7 for adults (ages 12 and up), kids 4-11 $4, 3 and younger free. Parking is included in admission. Rides have separate charges, and armbands are available for purchase.

Fair hours, armband prices

The carnival rides this year are top-notch attractions provided by Kissell Entertainment. Here are the midway hours:

• Tuesday, July 30: Open at 5:30 p.m., armbands $30 for all rides. Presented by Waste Connections Clarksville.
• Wednesday, July 31: Open at 5:30 p.m., armbands $30 for all rides. $5 off for Military Day.
• Thursday, Aug. 1: Open at 5:30 p.m., armbands $30 for all rides. Kubota Coleman Tractor Night.
• Friday, Aug. 2: Open at 5:30 p.m., armbands $35 for all rides.
• Saturday, Aug. 3: Open at 1 p.m., armbands $35 for all rides.

Tickets are $1.50 per ticket or 22 tickets for $30.

Swifty Swine Racing Pigs

Price: Free with admission
Showtimes: 7:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday.

Enduro Racing

Price: Adult $15, kids 4-10 $10, pits are $30. Kids 3 and under free.
Showtime: Wednesday, July 31. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 6:30 p.m.

Flat Track Bike Racing

Price: Adult $20, kids 4-11 $10. Kids 3 and under free.
Showtime: Gates open at 1 p.m., hot laps at 3 p.m., racing starts at 6 p.m.
