CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – City Councilwoman Wanda Smith flipped the switch to turn on the Christmas on the Cumberland display of over 1 million lights Saturday night.
The free lights display will be on with the Riverwalk from Nov. 18 through Jan. 2, open from 5-10 p.m. on Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m. on Friday-Saturday. Lights may be off during rain and extreme weather.
Ahead of the lighting ceremony, Christkindle Market was open. This was Clarksville’s new, German-inspired, open-air craft market with food, drinks and artisan vendors selling holiday handmade items.
