Clarksville Police and nonprofits provide over 300 families clothing, food, toys for holidays | VIDEO

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department’s Juvenile Engagement Team and local nonprofits joined forces at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library to provide families with clothes, food, toys and other items for the holidays on Tuesday. This year, over 300 families were provided with donations.
“Last year we were able to help out a lot of our CMCSS students and their families, and this year, with the disaster, we wanted to do it a little bit bigger, a little bit better, and try to help out a lot more people,” said Marshun Cox with the Clarksville Police Juvenile Engagement Team.
YAIPak, Manna Cafe, Artlink, Loaves & Fishes, Mother to Mother, Urban Ministries, Chance at Change, Clarksville Soccer Club, and various other nonprofits all contributed to the second annual Holiday Family Food Drive.
