Clyde’s of Clarksville returns with major renovations, new menu at River Club golf course

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The River Club Golf and Learning Center has revamped their in-house restaurant, Clyde’s of Clarksville, with a “polished casual” feel.

Clyde’s has many food options, such as salmon, steak sandwiches, buffalo cauliflower, flatbreads and more. “We wanted to bring dishes to Clarksville that customers have not had before,” said General Manager Derek Hall.

Originally planned as a small renovation, an executive decision was made to create something bigger that Clarksville would be proud of, which is when Hall came aboard. Hall says they wanted to make something “polished casual:” an elevated dining experience while maintaining the casual feel you get on the golf course.

Clyde’s of Clarksville is still partnered with the River Club Golf and Learning Center. Hall said one large misconception is that some people think it’s a private club. Hall noted he wants to let people know that Clyde’s is open to the public.

A new benefit for golfers: You can order off the menu as you make the turn at the ninth hole and it will be ready when you come in. Also, golfers can visit a downstairs bar with three TVs and a couple of different beverages that are not offered on the main level.

With a passion for taking care of firefighters and police officers, Hall offers them a 50% discount. Hall says he comes from a family of first responders, and he wanted to make sure those men and women were thanked for what they do.

Clyde’s of Clarksville is at 1150 Warfield Blvd. Their hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
