Cooling at Dunbar Cave with James Parker presents history of cave’s concerts | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Friends of Dunbar Cave presented Cooling at Dunbar Cave on Saturday, featuring James Parker, a Clarksville native, who imagined his voice and sound entertaining folks who attended a dance or listened to the WSM radio broadcast.
Many singers have performed at Dunbar Cave, once owned by Roy Acuff. Growing up with the traditions of music, Parker wanted to pay homage to that history, with songs from all the eras of music that have graced the grounds.
The event raised funds to support projects and improvements at Dunbar Cave State Park.
