Drive-Thru Live Nativity returns to Grace Church of the Nazarene | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Grace Church of the Nazarene is hosting its annual Drive-Thru Live Nativity this weekend. The holiday event is free and open to the public. Pastor Rick Cook said the church has done the live Nativity for many years, and it’s a privilege to tell people the story of Jesus.
“We get to tell the folks the story from the Gospel about the first coming of Jesus. From Caesar, and the census, to no room in the inn, to the shepherds, to the angels, to the Nativity scene. We actually close off with Jesus at the open tomb,” Cook said.
Guests drive through the Nativity on the church grounds in their personal vehicles and will see actors in costume, live camels, goats and donkeys. At the end of the drive-thru experience, there are Christmas carols sung by the Grace Church Choir, hot cocoa and cookies.
The drive-thru Nativity is free and open to the public at the church, 3135 Trenton Road. Weather permitting, the event will continue Saturday from 6-9 p.m., and Sunday from 5-8 p.m. To learn more, go to clarksvillegrace.org.
