Fall fun guide 2023: Festivals, fairs, movies and events coming up in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From Octoberfests to trunk-or-treats, there’s plenty of fun going on this fall.

Sept. 22-24
Where: Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane
When: Friday-Sunday, Sept. 22-24

Details: Presented by The Star Spangled Brewing Co., the seventh annual Clarksville Oktoberfest will feature a live polka band all weekend, Oktoberfest beers, wines from the vineyard, tons of German foods and games, along with dancing and stein-holding competitions.

Details: The Cumberland Winds Jazz concert features guest artist Andrew Carney on Trumpet. Carney is a composer, arranger and performer.

Details: Scriptless in Seattle is a dynamic improv comedy troup known for quick wit, creativity, and ability to entertain audiences of all ages.

When: Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Cost: Tickets $15
Details: Guests can expect a variety of entertainment options for both humans and pets. Participate in contests such as Owner/Dog Lookalike or enter our newest contest the Pooch Plunge: Hot Dog Edition. Enter to win great prizes all day long, explore pet friendly vendors and local businesses, live DJ, and other fun activities.

Details: Music festival to benefit Coalition for Cause woman and children charities. Featuring Still Moves, Shelton Slack, Walt Heggie Band, Jeremy Holt and the Tennessee Field Hands. With food trucks, an art show and more.

Details: Join in a family fun movie night under the stars with a showing of Encanto.

Vanderbilt vs. MTSU Hockey Game
Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
When: 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24
Cost: Free
Details: Rivals Middle Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University will compete in the first College Hockey South game to be played at the F&M Bank Arena. Local non-profit organizations will be at the event.
Sept. 28
Nashville Predators’ Gold Star Showcase
Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
When: 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28
Cost: Tickets start at $17.90
Details: The Nashville Predators will host the Gold Star Showcase, an intrasquad game between Predators players benefiting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Antique Tractor and Engine Club Fall Festival
Where: John D Bartee Agriculture Complex, 1985 Rossview Road
When: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29; 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30
Cost: Free admission
Details: The Montgomery County Antique Tractor and Engine Club event features tractors and engine displays, corn shelling, threshing, corn grinding and tractor games. It’s a family fun event, so bring the kids for the pedal car pull. Vendors on site with food, crafts and tractor parts.

When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30

Details: This aviation-themed, family-friendly event will feature a multitude of vendors, food trucks, bouncy houses.

Details: Free family friendly event. International food and product vendors. Magic show, cultural performers and live music.

Details: Clarksville Jazz Collective and South Street Players will be playing outside of Beachaven. The first band will play 3-5 p.m. and the second 6:30-9:30 p.m. Food trucks will be present.
Master Gardeners Fall Plant Sale
Where: Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane, front sidewalk
When: Saturday, Sept. 30
Cost: Free admission
Details: Plants for sale, to support Master Gardeners program.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure
Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
When: Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Details: This music-filled, interactive live stage performance is based on the hit animated preschool series PAW Patrol, which airs on Nickelodeon.

Details: Toast to the start of the Gateway Chamber Orchestra’s 15th Anniversary Season with a fusion of German excellence: great brews and great music.

Details: Artsville is an annual art festival that features a variety of artists creating live for all the community to see, from 3D chalk art to mural and sculpture art. This is a 5-day festival with different events each day.

Time: 7-10 p.m.
Details: American Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, will be performing. Beer and other beverages will be for sale, and food trucks will line up on Main Street. Bring chairs and blankets. No coolers, pets, smoking or outside alcohol.

Details: This is a new event for witches, wizards and non-magical folks of all ages. You will find specialty artisans, craft stations, fandom-inspired food and drinks, and your favorite magical classes will be in session. Stay for a special movie screening in the amphitheater, complete with free popcorn.
