Fall fun guide 2024: Festivals, fairs, movies and events coming up in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From Octoberfests to trunk-or-treats, there’s plenty of fun going on this fall. Here’s your guide to local fall events. If you know of other big local events coming up, email news@clarksvillenow.com.

Sept. 17

Styx Concert

  • Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street.
  • When: Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $66 plus.
  • Details: The seven men comprising Styx have committed to rocking the Paradise together with audiences far and wide by entering their second decade of averaging 100 shows a year, and each one of them is committed to making the next show better than the last. See them live in Clarksville!

Sept. 20

Downtown @ Sundown

  • Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street.
  • When: Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: See the Prince Experience live at Downtown @ Sundown Summer concert series.

Sept. 21

F&M Bank Arena Anniversary Open House

  • Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 21, from noon-3 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Fans will have the opportunity to explore F&M Bank Arena and relive the highlights from its first incredible year. Whether you’re a fan of Austin Peay State University Basketball, the Nashville Predators, or Nashville Kats arena football, this open house will take you back through some of the arena’s most memorable moments

Bands at the Brewstillery

  • Where: The Star Spangled Brewing Company, 614 North Spring Street.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 17 from 6-9 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Bring the lawn chairs, the bug spray, the kids, and the pups, but not the outside alcohol. Food will be available for purchase via “Campfire Grill”. Distiller Take Over will perform.

Sept. 22

Barks & Brews BARKtoberfest

  • Where: The Fallen Brewery, 1761 Jardco Drive
  • When: Sunday, Sept. 22, from noon to 5 p.m.
  • Cost: $12 online on Eventbrite or $15 at the door.
  • Details: The newly themed BARKtoberfest, the big annual Barks & Brews event, will feature live music, deliciously crafted beers, a silent auction and owner/pet contests.

Sept. 25

Nashville Predators Gold Star Showcase

  • Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street.
  • When: Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Tickets start at $23.
  • Details: The Nashville Predators will host the second annual Gold Star Showcase, an intrasquad game between Predators players benefiting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, at F&M Bank Arena. The Military-themed game will feature the Fort Campbell Color Guard and a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Sept. 27

Craftsmen’s Fair in the Silo Park

  • Where: Old Glory Distilling Co., 451 Alfred Thun Road.
  • When: Friday, Sept. 27 from 10-4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Come out and see over 30 craftsmen this fall at Silo Park at Old Glory Distilling Co. as they showcase their wares and unique trades!

Sept. 27-29

Oktoberfest

  • Where: Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane.
  • When: Sept. 27-29 at 9 a.m.
  • Cost: Free admission.
  • Details: This year will be even bigger and better with free admission, a live polka band all weekend, Oktoberfest beers, wines from the vineyard, German foods and games, along with dancing and stein-holding competitions. Fun for the whole family!

Sept. 28

Magic in the Park

  • Where: Liberty Park, 1188 Cumberland Drive.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2-9 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: The event will feature vendors selling specialty items, hands-on craft activities, themed food and beverages, interactive animal encounters, a costume contest, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a free movie screening.

Craftsmen’s Fair in the Silo

Artsville Live

  • Where: The Emerald Clarksville, 2631 Highway 41A Bypass
  • When: Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 5-9 p.m.
  • Cost: $35
  • Details: Head to the Emerald Clarksville for the first day of Artsville Fest 2024 – a film, fashion, and performing arts show. Doors open at 5 p.m. for a cocktail hour with a 360 camera, a silent auction, a cash bar, and mingling.

Oct. 3

Artsville Fest Art Gala

  • Where: Sanctuary on Main, 334 Main Street.
  • When: Thursday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m.
  • Cost: Donation
  • Details: Head to Sanctuary on Main for the second event of Artsville Fest 2024 – a speakeasy-inspired art gala. Dine on some of Clarksville’s most delectable cuisine during an outdoor dine-around, then step inside to enjoy a drink and explore the art gallery.

Oct. 4

Downtown @ Sundown

  • Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street.
  • When: Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Join Downtown Commons on October 4 to hear Completely Unchained, a Van Halen tribute live!

Oct. 5

Artsville Festival

  • Where: Main Street Clarksville.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with creativity and inspiration as they showcase the talents of local artists, musicians, performers, and artisans.

Jazz on the Lawn

  • Where: Beachaven Vineyard and Winery, 11oo Dunlop Lane.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 5 from 3-9:30 p.m.

  • Details:  Full Circle and Bicho Brothers will perform. Enjoy wine and local food trucks with live music.

Run for Govs 5K

  • Where: Austin Peay State University, 320 Drane Street.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Cost: $40
  • Details: Enjoy a 5K near Austin Peay State University with a winding course up Emerald Hill. Whether you run or walk, your participation will benefit student scholarships and funds that is an Austin Peay experience paying it forward for our Govs.

Day with the Dead Cemetery Tour

  • Where: Riverview Cemetery, 101 McClure Street.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 5 from3-7 p.m.
  • Cost: Adult tickets (13-up): $15 | Youth tickets (8-12): $10
  • Details: Walk through history at Riverview Cemetery! Hear the historic stories of past Montgomery County residents when actors in period clothing portray the deceased along the trails of the Historic Clarksville City Cemetery.

Oct. 12

Tennessee Horror Fest

  • Where: Quality Inn Exit 4, 3095 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

  • Cost: $20. Kids under 11 are free.
  • Details: The Tennessee Horror-Fest is a Horror mecca convention located in the beautiful City of Clarksville, Tennessee. Striving to be Tennessee’s best and truest Horror convention featuring fandoms of multiple genres.

Oct. 13

Blippi: Join the Band Tour

  • Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street.
  • When: Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m.
  • Cost: Tickets start at $34.
  • Details: Blippi will be joined onstage by Meekah, their singing and dancing buddies and live musicians to explore what makes music, including sounds, rhythms and instruments, through all your favorite Blippi hits.

Clarksville Halloween Market

  • Where: Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champions Way.
  • When: Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Clarksville Halloween Market! This is a free, family-friendly indoor event at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center with vendors, food trucks, and more.

Oct. 17

Dwight Yoakam Concert

  • Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street.
  • When: Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Tickets start at $73.
  • Details: Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, and he is a 21-time nominated, multiple Grammy Award winner. See him live downtown!

The Rocky Horror Show

  • Where: Friday, Oct. 18

  • Details: Complete with sass from the audience and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever!

  • Details: The gala supports local mental health and other initiatives while celebrating the achievements of those who uplift and empower the community, particularly in advancing the well-being of women and the Black community.

Clarksville Half Marathon & 5K
