Fall fun guide 2025: Festivals, fairs, concerts and events coming up in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From Octoberfests to trunk-or-treats, there’s plenty of fun going on this fall. Here’s your guide to local fall events through Veterans Day. If you know of other big local events coming up, email news@clarksvillenow.com.

Sept. 4

Downtown Local Sound

• Where: Downtown Commons 215 Legion Street
• When: Thursday, Sept. 4, 6-8 p.m.
• Cost: Free
• Details: During the First Thursday Artwalk, catch live music by local artists. This night: Estrogensis, Giovanni Graves and Really Bad People.

Sept. 5

Downtown @ Sundown

• Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
• When: 7-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5
• Cost: Free
• Details: Wonderlove (Stevie Wonder tribute) will be performing. Food trucks will also be present.

Sept. 5-7

PossumStock 2025

• Where: Red River Canoe Rental, 8002 US Highway 41, Adams
• When: Friday-Sunday, Sept. 5-7. Opens noon Friday and closes at noon Sunday.
• Cost: Tickets $80 presale until Sept. 1, $100 at gate.
• Details: Annual celebration of the Middle Tennessee underground original music scene with 36 bands on the river side.

F2 Con

• Where: Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champions Way
• When: Friday-Sunday, Sept. 5-7
• Cost: $15
• Details: Sixth annual CDE Lightband-sponsored event with gaming competition, vendors, food trucks, and, new this year, cosplay.

Sept. 12

Dueling Pianos

• Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
• When: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12,
• Cost: Free
• Details: Talented pianists engage in friendly musical competition. Food will be available for purchase from Wolf Down and food trucks on Main Street.

Sept. 13

Govs Creative Arts Festival

• Where: Downtown Commons
• When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13
• Cost: Free
• Details: Austin Peay State University’s College of Arts & Letters holding community event for all ages, featuring The Voice contestant Jay Ammo, Music for Mercy, musical performances by faculty and students, spoken word presentations by students from APSU’s creative writing program, and dance performances by local dance studios. Also, hands-on art activities, inflatable and food trucks.

Sevier Days

• Where: Fort Defiance Interpretive Center & Park, 120 Duncan St.
• When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13
• Cost: Free
• Details: A living history event that features Native American and frontier re-enactors showcasing various activities, including flint knapping, an authentic blacksmith operation, frontier camp life, and flintlock musket firing. The Traveling Caudells will also be performing period music during the event.

Sept. 19

Downtown @ Sundown

• Details: Mellencougar (John Mellencamp tribute) will be performing. Food trucks will also be present.

Sept. 20

PokeKon Fest

• Where: Quality Inn Hotel Exit 4
• When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20
• Cost: Tickets $20, kids 11 and younger free (one child per adult)
• Details: An all-Pokemon show with exhibits featuring toys, games, candy, magazines and more, plus tournaments, cosplay, panels and guest appearances.

Sept. 25

Nashville Predators Gold Star Showcase

• Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
• When: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25
• Cost: Tickets start at $25
• Details: Nashville Predators third annual Gold Star Showcase, an intrasquad game between Predators players benefiting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Sept. 26

APSU PEAYple’s Concert

• Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main St.
• When: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26
• Cost: Tickets start at $45.
• Details: Austin Peay State University’s second annual Peayple’s Concert is bringing rap legends Waka Flocka Flame and Boosie Badazz. Co-headlining the night is Louisiana hip-hop star Boosie Badazz.

Sept. 27

Just Plane Fun Day

• Where: Clarksville Regional Airport, 200A Outlaw Field Road
• When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27
• Cost: Free admission
• Details: Fourth annual aviation-themed community outreach event with helicopter flights, live music, car show, aircraft displays, bounce houses, vendors, food trucks and more.

Magic in the Park

• Where: Wilma Rudolph Event Center, Liberty Park
• When: 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27; movie screening of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” at 6 p.m.
• Cost: Free
• Details: Outdoor festival featuring artisan vendors, treats and interactive experiences inspired by magical adventures. Costumes encouraged, with a contest for age groups ranging from little kids to adults. In case of inclement weather, activities will move indoors.

South of the River Art Tour

• Where: Various locations across Montgomery County
• When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27
• Cost: Free
• Details: The fourth annual South of the River Art Tour will feature the work of more than a dozen local artists, with pieces available for purchase. For the full shedule and locations, go to the event Facebook page.

Riverfront Jerk Festival

• Where: Kenwood High School, 251 East Pine Mountain Road
• When: 1-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27
• Cost: Free admission
• Details: Jamaican Jerk and Caribbean food along with local and international craft vendors. Family entertainment with kids face painting.

Oct. 2 and 4

Artsville Fest

• Where: 116 Strawberry Alley and other downtown locations
• Cost: Free admission
• Details: Annual downtown creative arts festival, created by Artlink Clarksville, featuring visual and performance art, live large scale art exhibits and intimate interactions with artists, artisans and makers.
  • Oct. 2, 5-9 p.m.: Art Gala: Speakeasy Masquerade at ArtLink, Outlaw Antiques and DBO Gallery.
  • Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Festival Day with live music, Chalk Walk contest, chalk artists and vendors.

BBQ Fest: Across the River

• Details: Family-friendly event featuring a BBQ competition, beer, live music, and football on the big screen. Enjoy food trucks and the People’s Choice tasting.

Bell Witch presentation

• Details: Pat Fitzhugh returns to Historic Collinsville’s Pavilion for a Bell Witch lecture, book signing, and short tour of the Batson House.

AMA Partzilla Regional Arenacross

• Details: As part of the AMA Partzilla Regional Arenacross Series, top riders from across the region battle it out on a dirt track packed with tight turns and big jumps.

The Rocky Horror Show

• Details: Richard O’Brien’s cult classic musical returns for its 13th year. Complete with wild characters, rock songs, elaborate dances and plenty of audience participation, the production encourages costumes and offers prop bags for $5 in the lobby. • Details: Exhibitors catering to a wide range of interests, including comic books, toys, video games, wrestling, sci-fi, sports cards, anime and cosplay. Highlights include a Super Smash Ultimate tournament and a cosplay contest.

Jokers Comedy House cancer benefit

• Where: Jokers Comedy House, 2150 Fort Campbell Blvd.
• When: 6 p.m. Oct. 18
• Cost: $30 stage seating, $20 floor seating
• Details: Comedian DJ Pryor performs, with all proceeds supporting Cleaning Hands for You, a nonprofit that provides free home cleaning to cancer patients.

Clarksville Halloween Market

Fright on Franklin

• Where: Downtown centered on Franklin Street
• When: 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
• Cost: Free
• Details: Trick-or-treat with local businesses and organizations. Costumes are a must, especially for those entering the all-ages costume contest.

Tennessee Horror Fest

• Where: Quality Inn Exit 4, 3095 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
• When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
• Cost: $20, kids under 11 free
• Details: Convention featuring fandoms of horror comic books, toys, movies, cosplay, makeup and more, plus a roster of horror industry professionals and fandom-related celebrities.

Historic Harvest Fest

• Where: Historic Collinsville, 4711 Weakley Road, Southside
• When: 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
• Cost: Separate admission for day and night events, from $10 to $15
• Details: Guests will rotate through three activities: a Harvest Hayride scavenger hunt (with a glow-in-the-dark version at night), a Storytelling Walk with slightly spooky 19th-century tales in the Batson House, and a campfire gathering with 19th-century songs and s’mores.

Rotary Park Fall Festival

• Where: Rotary Park, 2308 Rotary Park Drive
• When: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25
• Cost: Free
• Details: Family-friendly festival featuring pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating, Halloween crafts, creepy crawlers, and more. Costumes encouraged. Parking available at Community of Hope with free transportation provided.

Halloween Trick-or-Treating

• Where: Your neighborhood
• When: Evening of Friday, Oct. 31
• Cost: Free
• Details: It’s all up to you and your neighbors. There are no scheduled times by the city or county – just have fun!

Nov. 1

Clarksville Half Marathon & 5K

• Where: Downtown Clarksville
• When: 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1
• Cost: $25 and up
• Details: Annual race presented by Hankook Tire Manufacturing Tennessee featuring a half marathon and 5K through downtown Clarksville. New this year are Half Marathon Ruck and 5K Ruck divisions. Finish line celebration follows the race. Registration now open.

Nov. 8

Vintage Fair

• Where: Beachaven Vineyards & Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane
• When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8
• Cost: $7 for adults
• Details: Sip and stroll as you shop over 130 vendors featuring antiques, furniture, handmade goods and more, plus food trucks.
