Fourth of July Fest Carnival to return at Fort Campbell with Ludacris and Echosmith concert, fireworks

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Fourth of July Fest Carnival is back at Fort Campbell from July 2-6, including a concert on July 4. Echosmith will kick off the show, followed by Ludacris, and the evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

“We are excited to offer a different genre of music than we have had before at the July 4 concert and thrilled to have the carnival back for the first time since 2019,” said Melissa Schaffner, chief, NAF Support Division, Family and MWR.

The carnival will be open on these dates and times:

• Wednesday, July 3, 4-10 p.m.
• Thursday, July 4, 1 p.m.-midnight
• Friday, July 5, 4 p.m.-midnight
• Saturday, July 6, 1 p.m.-midnight

Admission to the carnival is free, but there are ticket prices for rides and games.

On July 4, the concert will begin at 6 p.m. with a fireworks show after, according to a Fort Campbell news release. The carnival and the concert will take place at Division Parade Field, 6390 Desert Storm Ave.

The events are free and open to Department of Defense and Non-DOD ID card holders with a cost for carnival rides and concessions. Non-DOD citizens must enter through Gate 7 to obtain a visitors pass which is required all days of the carnival except from 3 to 9:30 p.m. on July 4. One-day passes can be obtained in-person at the Gate 7 Visitor Control Center, 7199 Glider Road, or in advance online.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating on the field. Visitors can also bring umbrellas for shade until 5:30 p.m. when they must be put away. Personal fireworks, outside alcohol, drinks in glass bottles, grills and pets are not allowed.
