Fright on Franklin fills downtown Clarksville with heroes, ghosts and monsters | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The 15th annual Fright on Franklin filled Public Square downtown on Saturday.
This year’s event featured more than 70 candy booth vendors and the annual costume contest. Local businesses and organizations competed for the best-decorated booth while handing out candy and other promotional items.
Clarksville’s Mayor and First Lady, Joe Pitts and Cynthia Pitts, alongside City Council members, greeted the event attendees and distributed candy on behalf of the City of Clarksville. Some of the City Council members spotted at the event were Deanna McLaughlin, Karen Reynolds, Stacey Streetman and Keri Lovato.
Attendees enjoyed the costume contests for different age groups, including kids and teens, on a stage set up in front of F&M Bank at 50 Franklin Street. The costume contest was presented by DJ Kyle King of “Q Morning Crew with Kyle and Tiffany” on Q108 107.9 and The Kyle King Show on Twitch.
APSU photojournalism students contributed to this report.
