Halloween fun guide 2024: Trunk-or-treats, Fright on Franklin, fall fests and more in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Looking for fun things to do this Halloween? We’ve got you covered. Here’s your guide to local Halloween fun, through Oct. 31. Events are free unless otherwise noted.

Oct. 17

Haunted Hike Night

  • Where: 2308 Rotary Park Drive
  • When: Thursday, Oct 17, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: As night falls, brave souls will embark on a hike filled with eerie sights and sounds. Along the way, you’ll encounter stations featuring creepy characters and surprises.

Oct. 15-Oct. 18

Rotary Park Creatures of the Night

  • Where: 2308 Rotary Park Drive
  • When: Oct. 16, 17, 18, activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: The Nature Center is highlighting the mysterious world of nocturnal animals.

Oct. 18-Oct. 19

Fort Campbell MWR Oktoberfest

  • Where: Outside Hooper Bowling Center, 5380 Tennessee Ave., Fort Campbell
  • When: Friday, Oct 18, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday, Oct 19, 2 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
  • Cost: Up to $40, active duty and DOD ID card holders save $5.
  • Details: Raise your steins and enjoy a weekend filled with Bavarian fun.

Oct. 18-Nov.2

The Rocky Horror Show

  • Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
  • When: October 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31. Nov. 1-2. at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: $35 for adults.
  • Details: Complete with sass from the audience and an array of audience participation props, this kitschy rock ‘n’ roll sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever!

Clarksville Roller Derby Zombie Prom

  • Where: 1801 Fort Campbell Blvd.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 6-8 p.m.
  • Cost: $15
  • Details: Dress up in your best zombie prom attire and stumble over for a night of the undead. This is a non-skating event.

Oct. 20

Hocus Pocus

  • Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
  • When: Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m.
  • Cost: $5
  • Details: Showing of the movie Hocus Pocus.

Faith Outreach Church Trunk or Treat

  • Where: Faith Outreach Church, 731 Windermere Drive
  • When: Sunday, Oct. 20, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Pony rides, hayrides, petting zoo, food trucks, candy and fun.

Oct. 25

Auction World Trunk or Treat

  • Where: Auction World, 1158 Fort Campbell Blvd.
  • When: Oct. 25, 7-9 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Wear your favorite costumes, explore the haunted house and enjoy food from food trucks.

Hilldale Church Fall Festival 

  • Where: Hilldale Family Life Center, 112 Lois Lane
  • When: October 25, from 6-8 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Family-friendly fun, with trunk-or-treat, carnival games, bouncy houses, and food trucks.

Oct. 26

Fright on Franklin

  • Where: Downtown Clarksville
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 26, 3-6 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Trick-or-treating from more than 50 local businesses and organizations. Dress for the costume contest, open to all ages, online registration is required.

Fall Fest at Rotary Park

  • Where: Rotary Park, 2308 Rotary Park Drive.
  • When: Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11-3 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Interact with creepy crawlers, fall theme photo opportunity, Halloween crafts, pumpkin painting and more.

Walnut Grove Fall Festival

  • Where: Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1616 Walnut Grove Road
  • When: Saturday, Oct 26, 3-7 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Vendors/shopping, hayrides, pumpkin painting, face painting, games, bouncy houses, inflatable slides, Smore’s and more.

First Presbyterian Halloween Hunt

  • Where: First Presbyterian Church, 213 Main St.
  • When: Saturday, October 26, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Dress up in costumes (no face masks please) and bring the family for a team scavenger hunt, plus treats.

Oct. 27

Multi-Rescue Pet Trunk or Treat and Donation Drive

  • Where: Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County, 940 Tennessee Ave.
  • When: Sunday, Oct. 27, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: The second annual Trunk or Treat event for pets and their people.

Oct. 30

Ajax Turner Senior Center Trunk-or-Treat

  • Where: Ajax Turner Senior Center, 953 Clark St.
  • When: Wednesday, Oct. 30, 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Cost: Free

Oct. 31

Crunchy-Ween Trick or Treat

  • Where: Crunchy Depot, 2269 Wilma Rudolph Blvd Ste 106
  • When: Thursday, Oct 31, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to enjoy dye-free, natural candies in a safe and festive atmosphere.

Trick-or-treating

  • Where: Neighborhoods near you.
  • When: Whenever you want, but traditionally the evening of Thursday, Oct. 31.
  • Details: Clarksville and Montgomery County don’t set days and times for trick-or-treating. So go have fun!
