CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A rainy Sunday did little to stand in the way of kids getting their candy for Halloween at the annual Austin Peay State University G.H.O.S.T.

Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick or Treating has been going at the university for close to 30 years and is sponsored and organized by the APSU Student Government Association.

Sororities, fraternities, college programs and other groups set up candy, prizes and games as families and youngsters made their way around the Morgan University Center Plaza. Players from the Governors football team were also on site passing out candy.

SGA Vice President Logan Sykes said there were around 80 tables set up and their goal was 4,000 trick or treaters.
