CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The annual National Night out drew hundreds of visitors to the Fortera Stadium parking lot at Austin Peay State University on Tuesday. The event included dozens of vendors, activities, giveaways and more.
The Clarksville Police Department collaborated with the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and other sponsors to make this event possible. The event encourages law enforcement and residents to work together to make neighborhoods safer and build a stronger community.
The event let guests see law enforcement tools and demonstrations as well as get a firsthand look at what various local agencies do. Attendees also received free wellness checks, school supplies, haircuts, and food.
