Huntsville beats Peoria in first professional hockey game at F&M Bank Arena | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It was a night of firsts on Friday: Huntsville Havoc secured their inaugural win of the year against the Peoria Rivermen at F&M Bank Arena. And the Southern Professional Hockey League game was the first professional match at the new F&M Bank Arena.
The game remained neck and neck, at 1-1 after the first period. In the second period, the score climbed 3-3 due to Dom Procopio and Alex Kielczewski’s goal for Havoc. The victory was hard-fought, with the final score concluding at 5-4 despite two goals by Jordan Ernst for the Rivermen.
The Rivermen’s next regular-season game is against the Quad City Storm on Oct. 21. The Havoc’s next regular-season game is against the Burmingham Bulls on Oct. 20.
