CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Dozens gathered to enjoy the fourth annual Jammin in June at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center on Saturday. Attendees enjoyed food, beverages, and music performed by singer-songwriter James Parker.
James Parker, originally from Clarksville, combines current Americana and soul elements in his music. Parker draws inspiration from songwriters such as Amos Lee and Bruce Robison.
“We have a wonderful entertainer, a local talent from Montgomery County, James Parker, aka J.B. Parker,” said Frank Lott, executive director of the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center. “He’s making quite a name for himself in the music business in Austin, Texas.”
