Kiwanis Rodeo coming up with steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and more in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding and more return to Clarksville this month with the 35th annual Bill Hoy Clarksville Kiwanis Rodeo.
The Kiwanis Rodeo, a PRCA ProRodeo Event, will be Thursday, May 16, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. Each night, gates open at 5:30; with the rodeo at 7:30 p.m. Events will be at the Montgomery County 4-H Arena, 1921 Rossview Road.

The family-friendly rodeo will include activities for the kids. A vendor tent will have food and beverages, including adult beverages.
Tickets are $20 for adults, and $15 for children ages 2-12, and this year they are being sold only in advance. Purchase your ticket online and present the printed or digital code upon entry. No tickets will be sold at the door. Seating is first-come, first-served. For more info and tickets, go to the Kiwanis Rodeo website.
Proceeds from the event support Kiwanis children’s programs, including Explorer’s Landing at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center, and the Reading Rodeo, in which every third-grader in Montgomery County gets a free book.
