Local authors and illustrators symposium this weekend at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library

CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is set to host local authors and illustrators at their Writers and Illustrators Symposium Extravaganza (WISE) on March 16 from 1-5 p.m. The goal is to showcase the immense talent of local authors and illustrators and their contributions to the Clarksville and Montgomery County literary scene.

“With WISE, the library aims to bring together local creators for a day of inspiration, networking, and skill development, says Sofia Sharpe, event organizer. “It will be a fantastic opportunity for those aspiring to have their stories read and illustrations seen by others.

Those in attendance will be able to connect with fellow authors, publishers, and illustrators to motivate and encourage them as they participate in engaging panel discussions, meet and greets, crafts, author readings, and more.
