Manna Café holds Golden Gala to support community programs | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Manna Cafe Ministries, a faith-based organization committed to serving families struggling with food insecurity, held its annual fundraiser the Golden Gala on Saturday at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
This year’s event featured an old Hollywood theme and guests were treated to a walk down the red carpet, a dinner prepared by Manna Cafe Chef Maxwell and desserts by Miller’s Confections. Live entertainment was provided by Full Circle. The evening culminated with a live auction of chairs painted by local artists, quilts crafted with love, and donated items including a three-night cabin getaway.
The funds raised from the event will support all of Manna Café’s programs, including meal services, grocery distribution, case management, the emergency warming center, clinic and more, explained Vicki York, CEO and co-founder of Manna Café. York also shared that next year’s annual fundraiser will be moved to the spring and transformed into a garden party.
