CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Over 500 people showed up to support the Tap House 57 Hockey Club and the Nashville Fire Department as they played a benefit hockey game at the Ford Ice Center to raise money for the families that lost their homes in the Clarksville tornado.
The game remained close throughout, but the Nashville Fire Department finished strong after getting the final few goals in the third period to bring the final score to 11-9. The event featured a photo booth, music, food and more.
All proceeds from the game were donated to the families and community who suffered loss from the tornado. Attendees were invited to bring new toys, household products, gift cards, clothing, blankets, toiletries and canned food. The Tap House Hockey Club is a veteran and active-duty team.
