PossumStock Music Festival this week celebrates 11 years of local music on Red River

by ClarksvilleNow.com

ADAMS, TN – Now in its 11th year, PossumStock returns Sept. 5-6 on the banks of the Red River in Adams for two days of music, community and DIY spirit. What started as a small gathering has grown into a tradition, showcasing local and regional talent in a grassroots, homegrown setting.

With a lineup that spans everything from the soulful sounds on Xanthi Diamond to the five-piece metal band Autumn Lies Buried, plus regional acts like Future Crib, Joybomb and everything in between, this riverside celebration has become a cornerstone of the local music scene.

Festival highlights:

  • Two days of nonstop live music from local and regional bands.
  • DIY atmosphere celebrating 11 years of art, music and community.
  • Scenic Red River location perfect for camping, canoeing, gathering, and soaking in the outdoors.

“Eleven years ago, we just wanted to create a space for music and community,” said Cody Parson, organizer of the event. “It’s incredible to see how PossumStock has grown into something people look forward to year after year.”

The event will be at Red River Canoe Rental, 8002 US Highway 41, Adams. Gates open at noon Friday and close at noon Sunday. Tickets are still available at the gate, $100 for a weekend pass or $50 day pass.
