Summer fun guide 2024: Festivals, movies, concerts and events coming up in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This summer will be one for the books, and we’re here to help ensure that!
Here are some of the upcoming activities in Clarksville for the end of spring through this summer, ending Sept. 22. If you know of other events, email news@clarksvillenow.com.
May 11
- Where: Public Square, 1 Public Square.
- When: Saturday, May 11, every week on Saturday until October 5. 8 a.m. until noon.
- Cost: Free
- Details: This weekly open-air market features fresh produce from local farms, local handmade goods, ready-to-eat food, live music, and more. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Market mascot, Corny the Cob, during your visit.
- Where: Eldridge Farms, 4575 St. Paul Road.
- When: Saturday, May 11 at 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 12 12-6 p.m.
- Cost: 2 day pass $95.
- Details: It’s gonna be a jam-packed day of strawberry goodness at Eldridge Farms in Woodlawn, TN. Get ready to enjoy strawberry treats and listen to some fun music.
May 15
Breaking Benjamin F&M Bank Arena
- Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street.
- When: Wednesday, May 15, at 7 p.m.
- Cost: $80 plus.
- Details: Early 2000s rock band, Breaking Benjamin is coming to Clarksville this spring, making an appearance with special guests Daughtry and Keith Wallen.
May 16
Summer Concert Series: Jazz Night
- Where: McGregor Park, 640 N Riverside Drive.
- When: Thursday, May 16 from 6-9 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Join Clarksville this summer on the third Thursday of the month from May to August for a free concert series featuring local music and food trucks in its neighborhood parks. Middle School Bands, High School Bands and the Cumberland Winds Jazz Project will perform.
May 16-18
- Where: Montgomery County 4-H Arena, 1921 Rossview Road
- When: Thursday, May 16, Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. Each night, gates open at 5:30; with the rodeo at 7:30 p.m.
- Cost: $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 2-12, and sold only in advance at Kiwanis Rodeo.
- Details: The 35th annual Bill Hoy Clarksville Kiwanis Rodeo, a PRCA ProRodeo Event, featuring steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, bull riding and more.
May 17
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street.
- When: Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Join Downtown Commons on May 17 to kick off its first Downtown @ Sundown concert with The Party Feels.
May 18
AFL: Nashville Kats vs. Georgia Force
- Where: F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Streets
- When: Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets start at $42.30 through Ticketmaster. Use code GOKATS for 15 percent off tickets.
- Details: As part of the Arena Football League’s (AFL) relaunch, the Nashville Kats are set to deliver a riveting season and showcase the sport’s return to Nashville. A special Kats game will take place at F&M Bank Arena for Armed Forces Day on May 18 vs. the Georgia Force.
- Where: Omni Nashville Hotel, 250 Rep. John Lewis Way S.
- When: Saturday, May 18 at 6 p.m.
- Cost: TBD.
- Details: Join APSU in their 40th annual Candlelight Ball. There will be a dinner, followed by an awards program with a live auction and dancing. Dress code is black tie.
- Where: The Star Spangled Banner Brewing Co., 614 North Spring Street.
- When: Saturday, May 18 from 6-9 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Bring the lawn chairs for the Jada Vance. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
- Where: Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane
- When: Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Cost: $10 per child, $5 discount for third and fourth child per group.
- Details: Featuring bounce houses, obstacle courses, a foam pit and a toddler area, the third annual End of School Bash promises to be an unforgettable experience for kids of all ages.
- Where: 672 N. Riverside Drive.
- When: Saturday, May 18 at 9 a.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: A march for Jesus will take place downtown on the Riverwalk. Get ready for a day filled with prayer and praise.
Ray Ford Tractor Memorial Ride
- Where: Dotsonville Community Center, 3189 Dotsonville Road.
- When: Saturday, May 18 at 1 p.m. Music and picnic starts at 3 p.m.
- Cost: Suggested donation $1 per mile.
- Details: Bring your own tractor for the ride and raise money for Camp Rainbow. Camp Rainbow is a non-profit that aims to help children whose serious illness prevent them from attending a summer camp like typical children.
May 24
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street.
- When: Friday, May 24 starting at 7 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Join Downtown Commons for a lively evening of Dueling Pianos. Enjoy the dynamic entertainment as talented pianists engage in friendly musical competition.
May 25
- Where: Quality Inn, 3095 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
- When: Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Cost: $20 for adults, free for children.
- Details: Clarksville Anime-Fest is an anime collectors’ convention striving to be Tennessee’s best anime convention and featuring fandoms of multiple genres. There will be Voice Actors, Panels, Panels, Maid Cafe, a Lip Sync Battle, and a Cosplay Contest.
June 1
- Where: Beachaven Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane.
- When: Saturday, June 1 from 3-9:30 p.m.
- Cost: $5 admission for ages 21 and up.
- Details: Enjoy two different bands at the seasons first Jazz on the Lawn. Clarksville Collective will play at 3 p.m. with Tiffany Turner at 6:30 p.m.

- Details: The Downtown Commons will host the prestigious Nashville Symphony on the evening of June 5. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the community will have the opportunity to listen to some of the country’s most talented musicians live and in person. Chairs and blankets are welcome.

- Details: Self-guided tour that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more. Rain or shine.
June 7
Montgomery County Heritage Day
- Where: 4711 Weakley Road.
- When: Friday, June 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Cost: $14 per adult, $8 per child ages 3-12, children under 3 free with a paying adult
- Details: Celebrate local heritage and experience the uniqueness of life in Montgomery County in the 1800s as you interact with the past! Reenactors will portray several people from the county’s past including Civil War soldiers, civilians, and spies

- When: Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m.

Clarksville Oddities and Curiosities Market
