The Fort, Clarksville’s party station, launches Friday with Drake, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar and more

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Drake, Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar are at the top of the charts, and now they’re at the top of the playlist on Clarksville’s new party station, 99.1 The Fort.

Launching at noon on Friday, The Fort will deliver the latest hits, from SZA to Chris Brown, along with hot classics, from The Notorious B.I.G. to Ludacris.

“This is something we have been working on for a while, and we are excited for the community to hear all the great music that The Fort will play,” said Operations Manager Ryan Ploeckelman. “Not only is it the trending hot music of today, the playlist is also filled with a lot of great throwbacks.”

The new station replaces Sunny 99.1 and is part of 5 Star Media Group. 5 Star includes Clarksville Now, Christian County Now and nine radio stations: Beaver 100.3, Q108, Z97.5, Rewind 94.3, The Fort 99.1, ESPN Clarksville, Outlaw 100.7, EZ 99.9 and Patriot 105.5.
