- Details: Austin Peay State University’s College of Arts & Letters holding community event for all ages, featuring The Voice contestant Jay Ammo, Music for Mercy, musical performances by faculty and students, spoken word presentations by students from APSU’s creative writing program, and dance performances by local dance studios. Also, hands-on art activities, inflatable and food trucks.

- Details: Talented pianists engage in friendly musical competition. Food will be available for purchase from Wolf Down and food trucks on Main Street.
- Where: Line up at Budweiser of Clarksville, 2059 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.; toy drop-off at Appleton Harley-Davidson
- When: 11 a.m. lineup Saturday, Sept. 13
- Cost: Free
- Details: The Bikers Who Care 44th annual Leslie W. Watson Memorial Toy Run, with proceeds benefitting BWC children’s charities. After the toy dropoff, live music and food trucks at Appleton.
- Where: Fort Defiance Interpretive Center & Park, 120 Duncan St.
- When: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13
- Cost: Free
- Details: A living history event that features Native American and frontier re-enactors showcasing various activities, including flint knapping, an authentic blacksmith operation, frontier camp life, and flintlock musket firing. The Traveling Caudells will also be performing period music during the event.
In Hopkinsville
- Where: Downtown Hopkinsville
- When: Sept. 12-13, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
- Cost: Free entry and concert
- Details: 9th annual Summer Salute Festival! Enjoy two days of live music, a kids zone, carnival rides, food trucks and vendors. Free concerts both nights with headlining artist Easton Corbin, and The Frontmen opening for him.
