This weekend in Clarksville: Christmas lights, Ebeneezer Scrooge and Polar Express

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This is a great weekend to check out Christmas lights, with displays at McGregor Park, the Clarksville Speedway, and at houses all around town! Plus, shows at the Roxy and some extra Christmas fun on Monday.
- Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
- When: 7 p.m. Dec. 18, 19 and 20; 2 p.m. Dec. 20, 21
- Cost: $35 for adults, $15 for children 10 and under
- Details: Follow Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from miserly greed to joyful generosity as five actors bring to life beloved characters like Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and Mrs. Fezziwig.
- Where: McGregor Park, 640 N. Riverside Drive
- When: Nightly through Jan. 2, 5-10 p.m. (weather permitting)
- Cost: Free

Drive-Thru Christmas Light Show
- Where: Clarksville Speedway and Fairgrounds, 1600 Needmore Road
- When: Nightly through Jan. 4, 5:30-10 p.m. (closing at 9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday)
- Cost: $30 per carload (up to 7 people); $50 for vans with more than 8 people; $100 per tour bus
- Details: Enjoy more than 1 mile of holiday lights – over 3 million total – from the warmth of your vehicle. Special discounts available.
- Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St.
- When: Sunday, Dec. 21, 6 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets $5
- Details: Join a young boy on a magical train ride to the North Pole in this holiday film based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg. Rated G, 100 minutes.
Live Ice Sculpting and Movie Night
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
- When: Monday, Dec. 22, 6-8 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Enjoy a screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation under the stars while watching live ice sculpting by Joshua Perry of Burgasm.
