This weekend in Clarksville: Galentine’s Day, HeartStrings, ‘Diary of Anne Frank’

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Love is in the air with two Valentine’s Day weekend events coming up: Galentine’s Day and HeartStrings.
- Where: Fredonia Community Center, 4650 Old Ashland City Road S.
- When: Friday, Feb. 13, from 7 to 10 p.m.
- Cost: Free (registration required)
- Details: Grab your girlfriends and enjoy a Galentine’s Movie Night featuring a screening of Mean Girls. The evening includes mocktails, snacks, and friendship bracelet making. Guests are encouraged to wear comfy clothes and bring blankets and pillows for a cozy night in.
- Where: Customs House Museum & Cultural Center, 200 S. Second St.
- When: Saturday, Feb. 14, at 4 p.m.
- Cost: $28, with discounts available
- Details: Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an evening of romantic music performed by a string quartet from the Gateway Chamber Orchestra.
- Where: Roxy Regional Theatre (temporary location), 114 Public Square
- When: 7 p.m. Feb. 13, 19, 20 and 21; 2 p.m. Feb. 14, 15, 21 and 22.
- Cost: Tickets required
- Details: In Wendy Kesselman’s powerful new adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank, Anne emerges as a vivid, gifted young girl confronting fear, hope and humanity while hiding from the Nazis with seven others in a concealed attic.
