This weekend in Clarksville: Kid Palooza, carnivals and cabaret

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – If you’re looking for bounce houses, carnival games, and all sorts of free fun for the kids, this is the weekend. Three kid-focused carnival events are planned on Saturday.
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
- When: April 25, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Cost: Free admission
- Details: Interactive inflatables, balloon artists, face painting and lawn games at Downtown Commons. Food trucks will be on-site.
Month of the Military Child Carnival
- Where: Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone, 775 Weatherly Drive
- When: Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: The fourth annual Month of the Military Child Carnival, hosted by Centerstone, celebrates military children with carnival games, bounce houses, a dunk tank, magic shows, food trucks and more. Open to the entire community.
- Where: Tennessee National Guard Armory, 1801 Fort Campbell Blvd.
- When: Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Cost: Activity tickets $1 each
- Details: Sponsored by Clarksville Roller Derby, the carnival includes bounce house, games, a Skate-a-thon, vendors, and food trucks. Proceeds support local roller derby.
Songs I Could Never Sing: A Miscast Cabaret
- Where: Revel House Pub & Eatery, 140 University Ave.
- When: Saturday, April 25, 7 p.m.
- Cost: $20
- Details: Clarksville Community Theatre will present its first production, Songs I Could Never Sing: A Miscast Cabaret, featuring performers taking on unexpected roles from popular musicals. The event serves as a fundraiser to support the group’s future productions and mission to expand access to theatre in the community. Tickets go on sale April 15.

- When: Tuesday, April 28, 7:30 p.m.
- Cost: Ticketed event
- Details: The interactive, non-televised stage version of the iconic game show brings audience members onstage for a chance to compete. Randomly selected contestants can win prizes ranging from appliances and electronics to dream vacations and even a new car.
