This weekend in Clarksville: Line dancing party, then Guitarfest, Hooked on Science

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The weekend ahead of spring break is pretty quiet, but there’s still a country music party, then some weekday events at APSU and the Downtown Commons.
- Where: Wilma Rudolph Event Center
- When: Saturday, March 14, 7-10 p.m.
- Cost: $30 general admission; $50 VIP
- Details: A high-energy night of live music, interactive line dancing and a lively social atmosphere for ages 21 and up. VIP tickets include one hour of early group line-dancing instruction, a complimentary drink, early access to food and drinks, and reserved seating. General admission includes a complimentary drink, live entertainment and follow-along line dancing led from the stage. Food trucks and concessions will be available for purchase.
- Where: Heydel Hall at the Art + Design Building, APSU
- When: Monday and Tuesday, March 16-17, concerts at 7:30 p.m. each night
- Cost: Free
- Details: Austin Peay State University Department of Music will host the 21st annual GuitarFest featuring performances by alumni guest artists Bryce Mullins and Alan Mearns. The event is supported by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts and is open to the public.
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
- When: Wednesday, March 18, 10-10:30 a.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Come to the Downtown Commons to watch Hooked on Science, a fun educational program hosted by Mr. Science, who has also appeared on NBC’s Today Show, Sherri, and Fox & Friends.
