United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region holds campaign kickoff for 2023 | PHOTOS

CLARKSVILLE TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region held their 2023 Campaign Kickoff event on Thursday at the William O. Beach Civic Hall in Veterans Plaza. There were 15 United Way partner agencies at the event, which serves as a jumpstart to the new campaign year.

United Way Chief Executive Officer Valerie Guzman said the event allows people to come in and gather the things they need to start their United Way campaign. “They get to meet some of our partner agencies, ask questions, and pick up information to share with the community,” she said.

“One of the things that I love to tell people is that whenever you think about giving is you always think of subtraction. Giving is not subtraction, giving is addition, and it will multiply every day in the community that you live in and your life and those who live around you,” Guzman said.

The United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region has 23 local nonprofit partner agencies and more than 30 programs that strengthen the health, education and financial stability of families and individuals.
