Weekend top picks: Anime-Fest, Tattoo Expo, Dueling Pianos

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This Memorial Day weekend is filled with activities for everyone to enjoy. Watch a live musical competition, show off your cosplay, experience a four-day live tattoo expo, or shop for fresh produce and handcrafted products at the downtown market.
Dueling Pianos: Join Downtown Commons for a lively evening of Dueling Pianos. Enjoy the dynamic entertainment as talented pianists engage in friendly musical competition on Friday, May 24 at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Downtown Commons, 215 Legion Street.
Anime-Fest: Clarksville Anime-Fest is an anime collectors’ convention striving to be Tennessee’s best anime convention and featuring fandoms of multiple genres. There will be voice actors, panels, Maid Cafe, a Lip Sync Battle, and a Cosplay Contest. Tickets are $20 for adults, and free for children. The fun will happen Saturday, May 25 from 10-5 p.m. at the Quality Inn, 3095 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.
Downtown Market: Weekly open-air market featuring farmers and artisans who offer locally-grown fresh produce, food items, and handcrafted products. Plus, live music and special events. Enjoy the market on Saturday, May 25 from 8 a.m. to noon at 1 Public Square.
Tattoo Expo: Experience this four day live tattoo expo featuring over 100 tattoo artists from all over the world. Everything takes place at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champions Way. The event begins Thursday at 3 p.m. and goes until Sunday, May 26 at 9 p.m.
