Weekend top picks: Artsville Fest, American Floyd at Downtown Commons, Buckin’ for Boobies

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s a ton of fun stuff happening this weekend, including an Artsville Fest, an American Floyd concert and Buckin’ for Boobies.

Artsville Fest: Artsville is an annual art festival that features a variety of artists creating live art for all the community to see, from 3D chalk art to mural and sculpture art. This is a 5-day festival with different events each day, centered on the Artlink Studio, 116 Strawberry Alley through Saturday. Times vary for several free events, with some ticketed.

Downtown @ Sundown: American Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, will be performing in this free show at Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St., 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6. Beer and other beverages will be for sale, and food trucks will line up on Main Street. Bring chairs and blankets. No coolers, pets, smoking or outside alcohol.

Buckin for Boobies: Bullfighters finals competition, with part of proceeds to raise money for those struggling with breast cancer. Family-friendly event with live music and vendors at Walker Farms, 1680 Parchman Road, on Saturday, Oct. 7. Gates open at 5 p.m., show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 tickets on Eventbrite.

Magic in the Park: This is a new free event for witches, wizards and non-magical folks of all ages. You will find specialty artisans, craft stations, fandom-inspired food and drinks, and your favorite magical classes will be in session. Stay for a special movie screening in the amphitheater, complete with free popcorn, all at Liberty Park, 1188 Cumberland Drive, from 3-8 p.m. Saturday.

‘Ghostbusters’ at Roxy: Planters Bank Presents Film Series continues with classic Halloween films, at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St., 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8. Tickets are $5.
