Weekend top picks: Blue Jean Ball, cornhole tournament, Cookie Crawl

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend dance and eat at the Blue Jean Ball, cheer on American Cornhole Association competitors as they put their skills to the test in a tournament style two day event, or enjoy a sweet treat during Clarksville’s Cookie Crawl.

Blue Jean Ball: Enjoy live music, dancing and a catered dinner at Clarksville’s Blue Jean Ball. The event is on Friday Feb. 9, from 5:30-10 p.m. at Events at Tranquility located on 6158 Tolleson Road. Tickets are $75 and it’s sure to be a great time!

American Cornhole Association Tournament: ACO Majors are the main cornhole tournaments of the Season, where all skill levels can play, with an opportunity for anyone to win. ACO members compete for World Ranking Points, and non-members can join in for various “play to play” Walk-Up Tournaments. The event will be held at the APSU Dunn Center, 320 Drane Street on Friday Feb. 9-10 from 8:30 a.m.-11 p.m.

Clarksville Cookie Crawl: Local cookie vendors offer samples, exclusive sales, and the chance to order personalized desserts. You’ll also cast votes for best cookie and enjoy a decorating station at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champions Way, on Saturday Feb. 10, from 2-5 p.m. Tickets are $20.
