Weekend top picks: Fright on Franklin, Fall Fest at Rotary Park, APSU Homecoming

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend trick-or-treat from local businesses, celebrate the crisp season of fall, welcome the APSU Homecoming queen and king, enjoy a downtown concert, and support Manna Cafe at their yearly gala!
Fright on Franklin: Trick-or-treating from more than 50 local businesses and organizations. Dress for the costume contest, open to all ages and online registration is required. The event is downtown Clarksville on Saturday, Oct. 26, 3-6 p.m.
Fall Fest at Rotary Park: Interact with creepy crawlers, fall theme photo opportunity, Halloween crafts, pumpkin painting, and more at Rotary Park, 2308 Rotary Park Drive on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
APSU Homecoming 2024: Celebrate the 2024 Homecoming at Austin Peay State University, 601 College Street! Enjoy a golf tournament, delightful dinners, and alumni reunions. This year’s event promises to be fantastic. The events run from Friday Oct. 25-26 at beginning at 10 a.m. The homecoming parade is on Saturday at 11 a.m.
The Awakening Tour: Casting Crowns, We The Kingdom, Mac Powell, Katy Nichole, Terrian and David Leonard will perform for an evening that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and encouraged. The concert is at the F&M Bank Arena, 101 Main Street on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $65.
Manna Cafe Golden Gala: Manna Cafe Ministries, a faith-based organization committed to serving families struggling with food insecurity in Montgomery and Stewart Counties, will hold its annual fundraiser the Golden Gala on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 1190 Cumberland Drive. Tickets for the gala are $75 per person.
