Weekend top picks: MLK Day March, movie day and Roxy performance

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s a cold holiday weekend, but there are a few things to warm you up, including the annual MLK Day March, a bold performance at the Roxy Regional Theatre and some cold-weather fun at the Wade Bourne Nature Center.
The Vagina Monologues: Eve Ensler’s series of monologues about women and performed by women is back for the 21st year at Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St., at 7 p.m. Jan 12 and 13. Tickets are $35, suggested for mature audiences only.
Popcorn and Pajamas Movie Day: Come in your pajamas for a free movie day with popcorn. Bring a blanket or other comfort items to watch “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey” in the Community Room on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Wade Bourne Nature Center, 2308 Rotary Park Drive.
MLK Community Celebratory March: Clarksville-Montgomery County NAACP’s MLK Community Celebratory March will proceed from Burt Elementary School, 110 Bailey St. to City Hall and back. The march will be Monday, Jan. 15. Lineup starting at 11:30, with the march at noon.
