Weekend top picks: Tractor show, Just Plane Fun Day, Hispanic Heritage Festival, Jazz on the Lawn and more

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – October begins this weekend, enjoy great weather, music and family to get into the fall season.

Antique Tractor and Engine Club Fall Festival: The Montgomery County Antique Tractor and Engine Club event features tractors and engine displays, corn shelling, threshing, corn grinding and tractor games. It’s a family fun event, so bring the kids for the pedal car pull. Vendors on site with food, crafts and tractor parts. It is free admission at the John D Bartee Agricultural Complex, 1985 Rossview Road. The event will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, and on Saturday, Sept. 30, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Just Plane Fun Day: This aviation-themed, family-friendly event will feature a multitude of vendors, food trucks, bouncy houses. Free admission, at the Clarksville Regional Airport, 200A Outlaw Field Road. The event will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

Hispanic Heritage Festival: Enjoy a Free family friendly event at the Valor Hall in Oak Grove, 105 Walter Garret Lane.  International food and product vendors will be available, with a magic show, cultural performers and live music. It is a free event, beginning at noon, running until 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.

Jazz on the Lawn: Clarksville Jazz Collective and South Street Players will be playing outside of Beachaven on Saturday. The first band will play 3-5 p.m. and the second 6:30-9:30 p.m. Food trucks will be present. The event is $5 for adults, and free for anyone under the age of 21. Beachaven Winery is located at 1100 Dunlop Lane.

Master Gardeners Fall Plant Sale: Plants will be for sale, to support the Master Gardeners program. Join them at the public Library at 350 Pageant Lane on Saturday, Sept. 30. It is free admission, and the event will run from 8 a.m. until they are sold out.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure: This music-filled, interactive live stage performance is based on the hit animated preschool series PAW Patrol, which airs on Nickelodeon. There will be four showings at the F&M Bank Arena; Saturday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets are $45.

BBQ, Brews and Beethoven: Toast to the start of the Gateway Chamber Orchestra’s 15th Anniversary Season with a fusion of German excellence: great brews and great music. BBQ, Brews, and Beethoven will be at the Clarksville Regional Airport, 200A Outlaw Field Road. Tickets are $25. The event starts at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1.
