CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The sixth annual Clarksville Juneteenth Block Party was held Saturday at Dixon Park, hosted by Black Clarksville in a celebration of freedom, community and culture.

Tiffany Perkins with Black Clarksville said Dixon Park was filled with around 60 vendors, organizations, food trucks and nonpartisan representatives encouraging people to get out and vote. Those attending also enjoyed live music and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Organizers say it is a tribute to the resilience and spirit of the Black community along with a day filled with joy, history, unity and celebrating the beautiful city of Clarksville.
