CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – From science to fantasy, from rodeo to religion, there’s a range of stuff going on in Clarksville this weekend. Here are the top picks.
Mr. Rich Super Science at library
- Where: Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, 350 Pageant Lane
- When: Friday, June 26, with shows at 10 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
- Cost: Free; tickets required for admission to each performance
- Details: An interactive program designed to introduce children and families to the excitement of scientific discovery. Due to the program’s popularity, tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis as attendees arrive before each show.
- Where: Walker Farm & Ranch Arena, 1680 Parchman Road
- When: Saturday, June 27. Gates open at 5 p.m.; show begins at 7:30 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets $25 on Eventbrite or at the gate (cash only). Kids 10 and under admitted free.
- Details: Professional bull riding featuring competitors and bulls from across the country battling for eight-second rides. The event will also include freestyle bullfights. After the rodeo, The Ballistic Pintos will perform a live after-party concert.
- Where: Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.
- When: Saturday, June 27, 7:30 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Montgomery County Parks and Recreation presents “How to Train Your Dragon.” Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Food will be available for purchase.
- Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 114 Public Square
- When: 7 p.m. June 25, 26, 27; 2 p.m. June 20, 21, 27, 28.
- Cost: Tickets $35 for adults, $15 for 10 and younger.
- Details: Nunsense is a comedic musical about the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who stage a variety show to raise funds after a bizarre kitchen mishap.
