Clarksville Outdoor Expo coming up this month with animals, fishing, archery, boat displays

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Featuring boat displays, animals, archery and advice, the Clarksville Outdoor Expo powered by Get Pete! Pete Olson Injury Law is back with fun for everyone in the family.

The Outdoor Expo is a two-day event that brings the top regional outdoor vendors under one roof. Last year’s expo drew over 1,600 attendees. It highlights Tennessee and Kentucky hunting, boating and fishing areas, camping and outdoor recreation products as well as services for outdoor enthusiasts.

The event features speakers and workshops by regional and national experts, along with contests and demonstrations, boats and campers. Army Bass Anglers will offer fishing advice, and Animalogy will be back with their live animal shows. New this year they welcome survivalist Luke Dill with Sojourner Fieldcraft and the Tennessee Wildlife Federation. There will be fun for the kids with indoor fishing, whack-a-mole, archery and other games.

Schedule

Hours for the Jan. 24-25 event will be Friday from noon-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., all at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 1188 Cumberland Drive. Here’s the day-by-day schedule.

Friday:

  • 12:30 p.m.: Fishing Lines with ArmyBassAnglers
  • 1:30 p.m.: Duck Calling with Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s Chris Hearn, West TN field representative
  • 2:30 p.m.: Live Animals with Animalogy
  • 4 p.m.: Survival Skills with Sojourner Fieldcraft
  • 5 p.m.: Turkey Calling with Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s J.W. Worthen, director of programs, and Taylor Fox, Middle TN field representative
  • 6 p.m.: How to Set Up a Bow with ArmyBassAnglers

  • Noon: Survival Skills with Sojourner Fieldcraft
  • 1 p.m.: Live Animals with Animalogy
  • 2:15 p.m.: Duck Calling with Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s Jeb Beasley, Hunting and Fishing Academy manager
  • 3:15 p.m.: Live Animals with Animalogy
  • 4:15 p.m.: Choosing Rod and Reels with ArmyBassAnglers
  • 5:15 p.m.: Survival Skills with Sojourner Fieldcraft
  • 6:15 p.m.: Water Temperature and Bait Choice with ArmyBassAnglers

Tickets

Tickets are $5 for adults; military and kids 16 and younger are free. Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at the door.
