CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The annual Christmas on the Cumberland event took place Saturday, Nov. 23, at McGregor Park in Clarksville, drawing thousands of people for an afternoon and evening of holiday activities and live entertainment.

The event featured the Holiday Market, the lighting of the Riverside lights, and the return of the Christmas-themed drone show over the Cumberland River.

The Holiday Market brought together local artisans and small businesses offering handcrafted gifts, seasonal décor, and food options. American Melody Carriages also provided horse and carriage rides along the Riverwalk.

The lighting ceremony included performances by CAST and Crowns, Dance Force, and Macy Izatt. Mayor Joe Pitts then lit the display, illuminating tens of thousands of lights throughout McGregor Park and the Riverwalk.

The light display will run nightly from Nov. 22, 2025, through Jan. 2, 2026, though the lights will be turned off during inclement weather.

After the lighting ceremony, Firefly Drone Shows presented a 15-minute holiday-themed drone show using 200 synchronized drones to create images such as Santa, Christmas trees, and more. The display spanned 600 feet wide and 300 feet high.
