Downtown @ Sundown

• Details: Neon ’90s (country music) will be performing. Food trucks will also be present.

MoCo Movie Nights

• Details: Montgomery County Parks and Recreation presents “Freakier Friday.” Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Food will be available for purchase.

Last Jam at Poor Man’s Country Club

• Where: Poor Man’s Country Club, 1776 Madison St.
• When: Sunday, Aug. 9, 3 p.m. until it ends
• Details: Sixteen bands return to send off Poor Man’s Country Club, including Bobby Keel, Tim Lunch, Lucian Greene and more with backing band Uncle Willie’s Kids.

Red River Breeze

• Where: Roxy Regional Theatre, 114 Public Square
• When: Saturday, Aug. 8, 7-9 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 9, 2-4 p.m.
• Cost: $10-$20 online.
• Details: Red River Breeze will celebrate the release of its new album, Generations, with two performances. Copies of the new album will be available for purchase and signing during intermission and after the performances. Seating is limited.
